After Surgery

After weight loss surgery you will need to transition from a soft puree diet back through to a normal, healthy diet.

Weight loss surgery is not a guarantee for weight loss. Studies show that people are more successful when they are supported by a great team. Although we all eat, investing in a dietitian can help you stay on track and ensure that you focus on the things that count.

Prevent Deficiencies

With each of the surgeries, you will feel discomfort if larger portions are eaten which makes it harder to meet your nutritional needs. You may experience individual challenges with certain foods or meal times that you need extra help with navigating. As you will no longer be able to eat larger meals or due to the type of gastric surgery that you have had, it means that nutritional intake needs to be considered ensure that you are meeting your requirements to maintain health.
