How a Dietitian Can Help with Osteoporosis & Osteopenia
Osteoporosis is a condition where your bones become thin, weak and brittle and are more prone to fractures. Osteoporosis can also impact your bodies ability to repair after a fracture.

Bones are constantly repairing themself and in need of a steady supply of nutrients. These nutrients are needed by other parts of the body such as your heart and can compete for these nutrients if you don't provide it with enough.

Osteopenia is the precursor to osteoporosis.
