Are there any out of pocket costs for patients?


There are no out of pcket costs for clients with an eligable Medicare referral (e.g. Chronic Disease Management Plans, formally EPC). Sessions will be bulk billed.




What are your areas of expertise?


As an Accredited Practising Dietitian we can assist with a vast range of nutrition related challanges. My main areas of expertise include: - Weight Management - Disordered Eating - Hypertension - Diabetes (Type 1 & 2) - Food Intolerance & Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) - Low FODMAP Diet - Hypercholesterolaemia - Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) - General Health Eating




How long are bulk billed appontments?


Teleheatlh appointments are 45 minutes each.

How user friendly are online appointments?


We use the program COVIU which is a medical telehealth platform. You don't need to download any apps or programs in order to use it. The client recieves an email with a link to the appointment the day before. All they need to do is click on the link at the time of their appointment and it will open in their web broswer on their computer or phone. It will ask for permission to access their camera/ microphone and ask them to accept some basic terms and conditions. Prior to the appointment we send clients a link to an online Halaxy (previouslty HealthKit) intake form for them to complete prior to the appointment which asks for clinical information as well as medicare details. If you are a GP or practise nurse and would like to trial the process, please get in touch with us and we can arrange this for you.




Do you offer telephone appointments?


Yes. Eligable medicare referrals can be provided via phone. Belinda will ask the client which medium best suits the client and their medical situation.




Do you offer appointments in person?


Yes, we have a home-based clinic located in Pakenham. We also offer personal training onsite.

HAVE A GP REFERRAL?

If you have a referral that is eligible for a Medicare rebate with dietetic sessions allocated to Flex and Feed, your appointment will be bulk billed. Please send me an email at contact@flexandfeed.com.au so I can confirm your eligibility, otherwise, there will be a fee for your appointment.
