Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a term used to describe Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Both of these conditions result from inflammation of the digestive tract however affect different parts. Ulcerative Colitis occurs in the large intestine whilst Crohn’s Disease may occur anywhere in the digestive tract.
